i will admit it was by far one of the best meals i have ever had in the city of houston and i’m very jealous of their china!

Download the Microsoft Live Picture Gallery and play with the settings under the “fix” menu. Often all you have to do is adjust brightness, color temperature and to lesser degree saturation/contrast to get the best out of a shot. No Photoshop nonsense required.

We started at 17 tonight and decided to run to Voice for Dinner. We are so glad that we did! If a visitor stays at Icon, dines at Voice, and returns home.. they may think Houston is one of the best places to dine. The truth is .. there are MANY restaurants but very few are progressive or even “aware” of what is going on around them. Catalan and Max’s did something “different”.. Voice did something SPECTACULAR!! OKAY, so it may have been the beets. I still love Catalan but I think I found a contender tonight.
Has anyone had Dinner at 17* with the new chef? Do they have adventurous tasting menus as well? We would like to make it back sometime.
i had a great meal there. wes has good moves! he was still under the watch-full eye of barbara but now he has his new menu out and it looks great! he does offer a degustation but in the past 17 has only offered a 5 course. im sure wes would give you as much as you wanted…
Second that! People of houston need to go downtown to eat. My meal at 17 was outstanding, and we are doing great things at Voice. Whats the difference between midtown and driving the extra mile to come see two outstanding kitchens do work!
