it’s my pleasure to introduce mr pj stoops…

     

 

its been a longtime coming for me to find a local fisherman that can provide me with the quality of fish that i have always wanted from the gulf of mexico and now “we” have found him.  i first learned about pj from chef bryan caswell of reef restaurant in midtown.  bryan called me happier than a pig in shit raving about this new fish guy named pj and told me to come check out some of the stuff he just dropped off.  that day bryan gave me some rainbow runner that i featured that night at a supper club dinner and it received rave reviews from our guests. 

pj is unique because he deals with boutique fish from the gulf and when i first spoke to pj he rattled off the names of fish that did not know existed out there.  finally, an angler with integrity and enthusiasm equal to the chefs he sells fish to…
