summer solstice “repaistre” dinner – thursday june 19, 2008

summer begins on june 20th in the northern hemisphere and we will be welcoming the coming warm months with a dinner celebrating all the bounties that come with it.  the dinner will take place at secret location only known to those who have reserved their seats for the evening.  this dinner is of very reasonable means and it is encouraged to bring your own grape juice.  seating is limited and will fill up quickly.  see projected menu below – of course everything could change…email me @ rrucker79@hotmail.com

  • east bay flounder tiradito, yamabuki miso, lemon verbena & kimchee consommé
  • smoked vichyssoise, foamed dashi, gulf crab & garlic flowers
  • roasted gundermann’s farm peach, red komatsuma lettuce & warm lime-eucalyptus emulsion
  • toasted bacalao gnocchi, trumpet royal mushroom & pea shoot pesto
  • mr. buddy’s compressed pork, japanese cucumber & “sauce” ravioli
  • frozen lemon balm gazpacho & opal basil
  • strawberries, yogurt & mint
